Exhaust is melting by bumper! HELP

Angry Exhaust is melting by bumper! HELP
I just installed by JIC 505 and it seemed like it was hanging to high. So I went driving cause I was so excited. Now my whole bumper is melting what should I do! Do they make something to cover the plastic should I cut it around the exhaust. I am lost......

not sure but i think you could put a piece of thin sheet metal and rivit it on the bumper just over the exahust

what exhaust are you using? (so we'll know what kind to stay away from )
