Hello All,

I was at the track last weekend and went off course It was a small bump/over the rumble strips and through the grass. Nothing hit (so I thought) and everything went good for the rest of the run.

When I opened the hood after the run (had a cool down lap) there was a small stream of white smoke coming from the turbos and stopped a few seconds after.

Ran another session (ran hard) and shut her down and took her home. I noticed she sounded a bit diffent on the way home. She is much louder with a brrrrr brrrrr sound. its much deeper than before. Also sounds like a little bit of a metal clanking sound. Not real bad but you can hear the metal.

When under the hood the exhasut gas is horrible. Also there is a ton of noise happening under the hood. Way louder than my other 7's.

I am hoping this is a exhaust leak from the dp/turbo area. Do you agree? Where is the best spot to start looking? Sound like a loose connection (from the bump) or a blown gasket?

Also still running 19psi at idle and all the power is there. Boost patters are the same.

Damn, 19 psi at idle. I guess we can rule out a bad turbo. j/k.

Have you gotten underneath yet? That's where I'd start. I suspect you high-centered on the DP since it sits lower than most anything else in that area. Could be a broken weld or crushed a gasket or both. Hopefully the metallic sound is just a heatshield knocked loose or bent.
