exhaust...

Hey guys, I am in the process of deciding what type of exhaust system I would like to run on my 93 fd, I have a down pipe and plan to install a midpipe and cat back system. I do not have any air from the air pump flowing to my cat, and I think with my ecu upgrade causing it to run rich, that it may be getting a little clogged with fumes and causing the car to idle funny sometimes. I am thinking of just taking off everything from the downpipe back until I buy my midpipe and cat back. First of all, is it bad for the car, and how ridiculously loud is it?
Thanks

Bad Idea A rotary will shoot 2-3 foot flames out an open exhaust and you don't want that under the car also a fully open exhaust on a rotary will be about 150db loud and quickly cause total hearing loss

Not to mention boost spiking and creep if your wastegate is not ported.

Don't do it!! You would totally scorch the underside of your car!! I would definately get the midpipe (or hi flow cat) and catback. What ecu are you running? I have the pettit and mine was running too rich until I got my exhaust on. Now it is just sweet

Thanks for the help guys, I am also running the Pettit ECU. Hopefully it will run better once the exhaust is complete.
