thickness new is 4.6 mm

keep in mind that approx half of this is the non frictional center plate. i sold my Hyper Single after it slipped (once) as i started to make more hp. it slipped around just over 400 rwhp. it is a really good single clutch as long as you are making under 400.

another consideration is that clutch thickness V efficacy works just like brake pads in that it is not linear. the second (last) half probably is capable of delivering only one quarter of the performance.

spring pressure is 2650 pounds. v my double at 2200 pounds... the pedal and engagement wasn't a problem.

i sold my clutch after using it a couple of years and it was at 4.57
