Exedy Carbon Clutches?

Do any of you have or know anyone with an Exedy Carbon Clutch? I'm thinking about getting a the twin disc Carbon-R for my FD3S. My car is used mostly for track days and driving on the street occasionally, and it makes about 400 HP. The main thing pushing me to the carbon was extreme light weight and smaller disc diameter.

So does anyone in have experience or have heard of folks with one of these Exedy carbons, either sprung or unsprung hubs. I'm mainly wondering about wear and drivability.

Thanks for any advice.

I see, Carbon D sprung hub. Thanks for the info. I think that is the same carbon material as the R.

Anyone have experience with the Carbon R unsprung hub?

Well, I bought a used Carbon-R.

I just finished "cleaning" it, which involved washing with a non-oil based cleaner like simple green, then baking it in the oven at 300degF for 30 minutes to get rid of any leftover contaminants. The wife definitely did a double take at the carbon discs in the oven, but they came out looking much better than when they went in.

Install tomorrow and full driving report to follow.
