Yeah it's pretty ugly. Reminds me of an old Cadillac, you know the ones with the rear wheel well covers. They are functional though. That car is used as the companys top speed car for the top speed contests they have over in Japan. I've got it on DVD doing 199mph which was WAY faster than any of the other cars running.

Yeah this particular "race" was run on what appears to be a country back road (lots of grass and fences that just look like a country road), and judging from the mist coming up from the road behind the cars, it looks like it had just rained recently. If I remember correctly that Supra with the MR-2 4cyl only ran about 186 mph. I'll try and pop it in in a minute and see.

Just watched that part again and a Miata ran 160mph, the Top Speed supra ran 190mph, and the Scoot RX-7 ran 199mph. There was a Subaru Impreza, but they didnt show it run, and 2 Skylines they never showed the speed for.

Yeah, those races are pretty sweet. I guess I missed that country race. The only country race I saw, was the one in New Zealand. They do some previously mentioned, in WANGAN. They do a race from 200-300kpm and time it. Its pretty sweet, and scoot does a pretty good job taking that one too. Im not sure what 300kph, but I think I saw the max was 320kph or something close to that. Man that is screaming, I have been 260kph and almost **** my pants, any faster and got to get a better wing and some mad down force...

The car was put in wind tunnel testing and the covers over the wheels reduced drag by quite a bit and they usually only put them on for high speed runs...

Man scoot has those damn things on his car all the time. There is a place up K3 up here on the main land him RE, and a few others hangout at. No its not daikotofuto. When he does take them off with isnt all that often, it looks better, but the Side skirt and fender flare look like the stick out really far. Maybe its because of the tires he has in the rear... Who knows, still say its better without though. Scoot has been *** pounded on the track by RE, so I dont know if that drag helps all that much on the track, but on the long straight away, RE gets spanked...
