i always think im ready to sell my car because im bored with it, this is very true until i go drive the car.
the only problem is DRIVING the car. i havent had a chance to drive my car on a regular basis in about a year. its mostly just a get it started and run it around the block thing lately. whats really sad, is the fact that my car is more capable of making me smile now than ever (except for when i first purchased it), and i just dont have the time to DO the things i PLANNED on doing. go figure. . .
Best way to kick the boredom is to go hang out with fellow 7 owners. Talking about the car and seeing other cars will definitely fire thing up again.. Being track days or car shows..
I bought my FD 6 years ago and if it wasn't for other 7 owners, I would of gotten rid of it 5 years ago.. LOL!

sell the rims and buy another car, for side projects, like an FC.. than just drive the car when you really feel like it. which will come along very shortly. keep the FD for a long time and eventually it will be worth double! I guess i dont really know i dont get bored at all.. loved the fd since 93!

But like most have said, I've had my FD since late 94 and nah, I'm not tired of it. In fact I drive my wife crazy (she has an 05 RX-8 now) when we turn the corner of our subivision where we can see the driveway, the FD is behind the 89TII ongoing project and just out of the blue, I say "DAMN!!" She asks me what is the matter and I reply, nothing just saw the FD and that car is damn sexy. She rolls her eyes at me since she thinks her 8 looks better, but WE all know the truth.

Love the car! 3 years strong and I still can't get enough! Maybe that's cuz I can't drive it very often... In any case for me buying a 7 is like getting married: "til death do us part"!!
i've never been bored of my FD. but after replacing all my vacuum lines, swapping out my dp, eliminating my egr and double throttle, and doing a few other things... i sure as hell didn't open my garage for 3 days just because i didn't want look at her anymore.

The crazy thing is I really do remember every single one because they each have their own unique personality. Oh **** I'm seriously going for some counseling
Nope not me, had the car for a little over 2 years now. I dont daily drive my car thats why. Seems like the days i DONT drive it builds up excitement for the days when i DO drive it. I like to keep it like that. And past couple of months i been doing the interior makeover and i had a slight problem so the car sat. I know when all is done, ill feel like i just bought the car again LOL.

I have enough uninstalled parts in my garage to keep me busy every other weekend for the next six months. And enough projects planned to keep me going until 2009. Maye then I'll get bored.

Wish I could go racing no track here.
Planning to out of the country to do it though someday.

My wife HATES my rx7
She dosent like that i can reach speed over 300km/180miles
And she hates when i spend some time on the internert looking for some tuning parts
Thanks for all the advise guys.
I will definetly try the track again. I did it before with my Z, and not really having much fun.
Anybody know track event coming up in Seattle area?
