ETS Extreme Turbo Systems Intercooler Kit

Anyone here heard of ETS Extreme Turbo Systems? Here are some links about the company
http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/

Apparently, their kits seem to be popular with the Evo crowds.

Their kit for the FD seems to be pretty decent considering it allows the battery and radiator to remain in the stock location. The only downside is it requires removing the bumper support and notching out the core support for the inlet/outlet pipes to fit thru. Pics here: http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/i...tall-Front.jpg

What are the negative effects of removing the bumper support and notching out the core support? Anyone here have this kit installed on the FD? What are you opinions on this kit?

Is it just me or does it look like they had to bend the frame to get the pipes to fit?

For the money personally I would like to go with something else something that I know will work, and has been done before.

Just my opinion

I believe thats the portion of the core support where it naturally bends towards the engine horizontally hence it looks like it is bent slightly upward when the notch is cut.

skir2222... I'm also considering the Greddy FMIC kit which is actually much cheaper but it just seems like it requires to much hecking of various things as designed (battery reloc, radiator reloc, bumper support cut, etc.)

Be careful. Greddy makes two FMICs, they make the cheap *** M-Core and the tried and true V-Core. I've heard good things about the M-Core, but I wouldn't trust it on my FD. To my knowledge noone's done any real testing of it other than "I bought it, I put it on, and it doesn't leak air.."

The M-Core is something like $5xx, the V-Core is $11xx or $12xx...

And as you can see from this pic of it installed on someone's engine(I don't know who it is), there is space to retain the stock battery location as well as the stock radiator location.
