Engines??

Street imports say they can import almost any JDM engine. My question is since they can obviously do the 20B, can they do the 13B from a new japanese fd? aren't the engines from the 1999 and up rx7s more advanced and reliable???

Finding a 20b can be a bit of a challenge even for importers that say they can get them. As for the 13b-rew from a 99 FD, its not worth it unless you tossed a stock motor hard and want to keep a stock motor in the car. The 99 has better turbos and a few other minor refinements, but all in all its not vastly superior to earlier FDs. If your modifying the car significantly theres no reason to use a JDM motor, if you need a quick more or less stock drop in replacement, then its worth considering.
