engine sounds blown HELP!!

The other night I was driving the car on the highway quite hard (no signs of weakness even when I turn it off) and today I go to turn on the car and the thing barely runs ( like its running on one rotor or something). If I hold the throttle at about 1300rpm it sounds like it has a bridge port and just makes a solid brap brap brap brap sound. The motor was rebuilt by RX7 store 12,000 miles ago and iam only running 12-12.5PSI of boost on stock twins (race port). Iam for sure certain that the apex seals are gone so I check compression and on both rotors when cranking the needle consistently bounces to about 40PSI and when I leave the valve closed I get around 95PSI so correct me if iam wrong but it seems like the motor is fine..... The vaccum line to the map sensor is intact before anyone sudgests and I have no idea where to start. It kind of sounds like a spark issue but what do i know. Anyone have any input on my situation. Please help.

I did the same compression test (piston gauge) on my motor when I was trouble-shooting my problem. I got 125 psi valve closed. I would hook that bad boy up to a Rotor Compression checking machine. That way you can eliminate that option. Also I would check all plugs (make sure your getting spark); Do a complete check of your Primary fuel rail (to include the wiring going to the harness). Good luck with everything, hopefully things are alright!

40 PSI is way low... should be double...but more importantly you need to tell us what you think are all three readings... it is face to face that helps diagnose....

Ball joint, how high in the RPM range were you taking the car? I know the auto only goes to 7000rpm. Im not sure how the A/F would change when going from auto to manual.

I only took it to 7000. I didnt know if you guys tuned me any higher then that so I didnt push it.

You guys wouldnt think it might be my coil packs or another sensor would yeah?

it was very consistent 38-40 for every face on both rotors. every bump of the needle was consistent and nothing stood out.

I just took out the leading plugs and they were absolutely covered!! in carbon and crap so I put in some slightly used ones I had laying around and it ran better but still not good. I took it out for a drive and around 3K rpm it ran very smooth but as soon as I would give it more throttle to go above 4K it would just fall on its face and shoot black smoke out of the exhaust. Iam starting think its my coils... any one have any idea?
