Engine Porting
So, I apologize in advance, because I remember seeing a thread explaining what I'm about to ask. However, I've searched several times and cannot seem to find the thread.
Could someone tell me the different porting jobs for a rotary and the differences for them? Or link me to a thread that explains the differences?
Thanks.
Edit: Allow me to explain my situation. I don't currently own a rx7. But I've found an FD close to where I live for sale. I contacted the owner today and talked to him and he said the car has sat for 4-5 years. He thinks the engine will need to be rebuilt due to low compression on the rear rotor. IMO, he's asking too much for the car as it sits since it doesn't run. So, I need to contact a couple engine builders to get a rough price on rebuilds and I need to know what kind of porting job I want on the rebuild so I can ballpark a total price that I will have invested in the car to have it running.
