Reasons:
1- when installing my B&M short throw shifter I had to pry the transmission over to the driver side in order to install the two right side bolts because the shifter wasnt centered. Shifter was sitting closer to the e-brake.
There is a procedure in the FSM for aligning the driveline.

LOL Do you remember what page and section that was in?
Hopefully I am just plain dumb and all that is needed is a simple driveline adjustment, and not something serious like needing a new subframe.
Dont get me wrong, I dont mind getting another subframe...just hate to buy one and then find out that wasnt the problem.

It's been a few years since I've done it so I can't remember the exact location. Start by checking the engine re-installation pages. If you haven't found it later today, I'll take a look for it when I get home.

Thanks
I will try this procedure soon, once I get a new oil pan (old one got dented). Also I was reading one of your old post that was linked to RatedR1 and I think this will actually fix my problem. From reading the thread it sounds like the engine cradle/subframe has a little bit of play in it as well. Maybe this will fix the intercooler pipe & downpipe fitment problems I was having.
Mahjik can you confirm if the subframe has a little bit of play/adjusment once it has been loosened? I basically would like the to maybe "turn" the engine 3/4 inch.

Dont think I am doing all of this work just to adjust the engine oreintation. I am also installing a new oil pan, oil pan brace, noltec motor mounts, and new steering rack bushings. So while everything is apart I might as well make the adjustments needed to straighten out the driveline

There maybe a little play in there, but I doubt it would be .75". However, it's been a long time (years) since I've messed with mine (or anyone else's) subframe. You might PM GoodfellasFD3S or Rotary Experiment Seven and bug them. They would probably know right off the top of their heads.
