Engine Mounts
had a notion.
What is the problem with poly motor mounts on a street car? Excessive vibration
What is the problem with stock motor mounts on a street car? Cause of many "missed shifts" and drive train flex.
Since the engine wants to rotate in a counter clockwise rotation applying a pull force to the driver side engine mount and a push force to the passenger side mount. This brings me to my point.
Could we use a poly mount on the driver side to minimize the rotation and a stock mount on the passenger side to absorb the vibration? Or would the mixing of mount materials cause the engine to bounce around off the stock mount and rattle excessively on the poly mount.
Questions and comments?

I dont think you would have an issue with mixing the mounts. I have both poly and dont feel it is bad at all and I hear it only gets better. As far as the pulling motion I imagine that would be a mount on the bottom side of the subframe.
