Engine mount hieght: Stock and Aftermarket

Does anyone know the difference, if there is any in the stock and aftermarket egine mount hieghts? If anyone has measurements bewtween the stock and the vairous aftermarket I would appreciate it, please state what make for the aftermarket.

The reason I am asking is does it make a difference inb the height of the bushings?

I don't see any good reason why aftermarket mounts would be taller. If they were, it would position the engine higher in the engine bay and you could have fit and clearance problems with various components.

I still don't get why you're asking .

Because I am worried about clearances, I will also be runnng a custom oil pan which is 1/4" thicker so I have to take that into account as well.

There's no difference in height to my knowledge.

So does anyone have any they can measure for me? I really do not feel like pulling my engine just to check the height of the engine mounts

If you really want to know for certain you would have to check the height of a motor installed with stock and aftermarket mounts. Since the mounts are made out of different materials they probably compress in different amounts when placed under load. Therefore it is possible for any aftermarket set to look taller or shorter out of the car, but position the motor at the same height when installed.
