engine management options??

i didn't want to start this thread since it's probably very common but i couldn't find anything when searching. im guessing you guys already figured it out, yeah im a noob to the rotary world. anyways when researching, ems options seemed limited to piggy backs, PnP EMS, and fuel hacks. PnP EMS are way too expensive and the other two options are just gay. there was a thread that mention EEPROMs being soldered to the ecu. this is where my questions comes in,

1. what engine management systems are available to FDs?

2. which is the most common in the scene and why?

3. is there some type of emulation of the EEPROMs where you can tune your map to your setup before burn the EEPROM and chip the ecu? E.G from honda world, hondata, crome, neptune, etc..

the ecu you get will be as good as your tuner, so you can have the most prefer ecu out there, but can't find the right tuner than it's useless still.

so far the apexi power fc has been the most popular of these, as it's pretty much plug and play, but still requires you to get a proper tune to get the most out of your car or any mods you decide to add

There are quite a few options, but generally speaking the Power FC is the most popular.

As suggested by the post counts, the PFC is the most popular.
