engine hesitates 3k rpm, 2-3 gear

I ran a search but couldn't really find info on this...although I've came across it before so those of you that are kind enough haha, help me out.

I notice the car would hesistate around 3k rpm when I am in 2 and 3rd gear. Usually it's in the morning when it's cold but it does it from time to time. Any thing I can do to cure this?

Thanks.

My personal remidy for dealing with this is to let it warm up porperly and not drive it like it will break before I get it back home. For the younger crowd "like drive it mad crAzy, just like maybe you stole it or sumtin like dat......... damn that's the shiznit my shizzle.

Seems to be the only solid way to get rid of the problem, all the other solutions seem to be temporary or only work for some people.
