Engine harness extension?
Hi,
got a question.
Does anyone sell an extension to the engine harness? Basically a set of connectors with wires between them, that goes between the engine harness and the ECU.
Or can the required connectors be had somewhere, so I could make an extension myself?
I'm asking because I'll want to install some electronics down the road, like wideband o2 and the likes, but don't really want to be tapping into the original harness. I'm paranoid, ya know...
Thanks.

For a wideband and similar, you won't need to tap into the original harness. If you're looking to pass wires through the firewall, you can always drill another hole, or run through the driver fender and doorjam.

True, just for that.
However, if I want to hook up various auxillary inputs to log data, such as Throttle position, air temp, boost, etc... then I would need to tap into the harness, wouldn't I?
