Engine doesn't like when boost hits...

I went on my first real drive today, and the car runs fine when I keep the boost off. But right when I start to spool up the turbos the car hesitates and starts to bog...
My map sensor is not connected... When the map is
connected the car does not even idle... It just dies

Mods:
NS turbos
PFC
3 bar map
3" rad
fmic
walbro pump

First running without the map sensor connected is bad; very bad; blow up your engine bad. The PFC will not know when to richen the mixture up and you will run lean in boost and rich for idle.

When did you install your 3 bar map sensor? cause that is the likely issue; installing that sensor requires that you remap your base map as well as change other settings using a datalogit. You should have chuck westbrook's tuning notes (as it walks you through it) or just take it to a tuner.

The pressure sensor is used for idle control as well. At given MAP your sensor will give a certain voltage (see figure red line). The PFC that thinks you have a stock sensor will convert this voltage into a different pressure (see the blue line). The vertical distance between the red and blue line will be the pressure reading error.

Cruising works because then the fuel injection system is under feedback control from the lambda sensor.

Remap your PFC!

have you told the PFC what MAP sensor you are using? if so and this is the result try putting your stock MAP sensor back on, connect it, and see what happens. make sure the correct sensor has been selected.

I'm surprised your car even runs with the MAP sensor disconnected...

Search for "map sensor calibration" in the PFC forum. It may be easiest to use a stock sensor initially if you have one.

And don't drive the car without the map sensor connected.
