I have one in blue.It rules. works just as good as any other engine dampner. I highly recommend this for minimizing torque twist on the motor mounts. I have this and a gotham oil pan brace and the is no twitch at all. shifting is much smoother.

I have one marketed by Gotham that I bought cheap on a whim, and ended up surprisingly pleased with it. Takes alot of the shake out of the shifter.
IMHO, there are two things you should understand....
1. What looks to be a "shock absorber" is really just a large nylon bushing.
2. You may have to play with the adjustable length a bit to keep it from rattling, especially at idle. With mine, I ended up shortening it about 1/8 inch and then pulled the engine over to put the bolt through. This seemed to keep just enough tension on it. I also made two hard rubber washers to go on the outside of the pillow-ball joints and a hard rubber gasket also about 1/8' thick to go btwn the bracket and fender to further insulate vibration.
There are also other designs as well and those may be better.

The work, but are just a bandaid to the real problem: soft engine mounts. I would rather get a decent set of polyurethane motor mounts and be done with. The motor is designed to move somewhat, not be solid mounted.

I highly agree to that as well~~~
I was thinking about getting a dampner but I realized that getting to the root of the problem was a better shot... and its the motor mounts... just get new ones or the poly urathane ones.... it will save your *** in the long run.
