Question Engine Block Coolant Drain

Is it recommended to drain the engine block coolant when flushing the fluid? It would make sense to drain all the old fluid out but I did not see anything on this in the manual. I'm going to install a mazda comp radiator this weekend so please advise.

Yep, drain everything out you can get. You know where the block drain is above the oil pan on the drivers side?

I would drain it there too because you want to get it all out. I did but I have not filled my system back up. What is the correct torque for that drain plug since it does not state it in the manual?

I dunno what the torque is. There is a crush washer there so I just snug it down like my oil drain plug. Granted, everyone always overtightens those too.
