Electrical - is this right?

I do not like working with current, and so I had my FP rewired for me. I also do not fully comprehend wiring diagrams well so that is the second issue

Having said that this looks slightly different then (how I understand) others modified there fuel pumps.

My battery is in the trunk so they just added the red wire to the switch, and a blue ground wire from the battery.

To my understanding that should still give the FP the full voltage of the alternator.

Is this correct?
