Electrical problem, consult dealer?
I am having trouble with my electrical system. Somewhere, the wiring harness is shorting out and frying my ECU. I have put in a new computer and it runs for about a week and a half before it dies. Well, since the last toasted computer, I have called the dealer (who installed a NEW harness just about 2 years/12,000 miles ago) and the bastards want me to "Bring it in". I have a new ECU but the real question is, should I take it the the dealer or should I try to find someone who can work on automotive electrical systems?

I would take it to a local Rx shop, in all of my experence Mazda are a bunch of retards. Like trying to give me the wrong oil filter, and non even making the tool needed to install it.

The mazda dealership? thats probably the biggest problem you have. Thats the last place to take your car ever. I bet there is someone there who's paid to just break things everytime you "take it in"
