Theoretically Only ..is it possible to have an BOOST/EGT gauge in your car and basically turn up the boost little by little until you hit an even 1650 deg F and call that your MAX boost ??

You can dial in your boost then adjust rich or lean to the temt you want, but that does not mean it is adjusted correctly by any means, learn to tune before you pop the motor. find out what boost is safe for your car then tune for that with a wide band o2 set up , not EGT.
