EGI relay gremlins
Symptoms:
Lately my car hasn't been able to go into boost, I had to keep it in vacuum otherwise it would just fall flat on it's face. I've been testing everything I can think of and replacing anything that might cause it. So far my gas mileage has gotten better but I have to keep it further and further in vacuum otherwise I loose power. Can't even start my car now and I jumped my fuel pump and I don't hear it come on anymore.
Problem:
I tested my EGI relay and it showed 900 ohms. All other relays tested fine and only showed about 75 ohms. Called ray and it'll be a week or so before he gets more so I'm waiting for that part. Last night car started running even worse, had to keep it over 8 inches (idles around 14.) Tested my EGI again, now shows either open circuit or 1500 ohms resistance
Question:
Does the EGI have anything to do with my fuel pump not turning on or is that a seperate circuit entirely? Also, is there a way to get my car running without the egi fuse, like use wires and just pull them out or disconnect the battery when I park it?

Well the diagnostic module doesn't work without the egi relay in so then that explains the fuel pump. So now my question is, is it safe to just put in a couple wires to replace the relay (basically just making it two seperate circuits completely) and then pulling the wire out when I park?
