EGI Main Relay
I have a no start condition in my 93. I have traced it to fuel. I verified that the injectors are clicking by grounding them at the ECU, and I have fuel to the rail.
I checked the circuit opening relay by putting a ground on terminal A, and 12V to terminal B per the FSM. I heard and felt the relay click open and closed. No problem. Then I went to check the Main EGI relay. I checked it the same way as per the FSM. Ground on terminal A, 12V to B. Nothing. I thought, ok this is the problem. I tried it a number of times, and it didn't work.
Then, I reversed the terminals, 12V to A, and ground to B. It worked.
So, then I turned the ignition on to see if I could hear it opening, but I didn't hear anything.
Any thoughts? Is this thing shot?
thanks,
Dave

ok, I went back and looked closer at the FSM, and it looks like with that relay, you have to apply 12V to the A terminal and ground the B. When I do that it works.
But, I still can't hear it click when I turn the ignition on.
