EGI fuse blew, replaced it, car wont idle, Help!

Hey everyone, I hope somebody can help.

I have a 93 FD and the other day it wouldn't start, I changed the spark plugs and it still wouldn't start then I discovered the blown EGI fuse. I replaced the fuse the car started right up but it would barely idle, and its also smoking pretty bad. The car was running perfect before this.

Any possiblity I damaged the motor by trying to crank it with the blown fuse?

I've checked to see if the ecu was throwing any codes and its clean.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

The minute I turn it on it smokes until I shut it off. I've run it 3 times for about 5min each. It also feels like there is no power when slightly reving it.

if its truly flooded you will need to left it warm all the way up to op temp. probley about 15 to 20 minutes. it will be sluggish because its not combusting all the fuel.
after it clears out it should run alot smoother.

does the smoke smell like raw gas?

Sure enough....the map sensor line was disconected at the check valve, but....car started once and ran worse than before, and wouldn't start anymore. I'm guesing its just flooded to hell??

lol. your welcome. and yea probably plugs fould out. personally, i'd pull just the leads, and either replace them with a new set, or soak them in decarb cleaner, unless you have a spark plug blaster. =-)
