Efini Y Pipe and M2 FMIC
Just trying to explore the possiblities of replacing the stock IC with perhaps the M2 FMIC because I already have the M2 Cold Air Intake Box. If I were to get the Efini Y pipe, I understand there are modifications needed for the fitment, but are there other Intercoolers that could match with the M2 Air Box and the Efini Y pipe without fitment mods? Or is there another alternative to replacing the stock Y Pipe other than the Efini? Thanks.
I think u are reffering to the M2 SMIC. There are modifications neccesary needed to make it fit with the Efini Y pipe. If you can just get spyfish's SMICs. The Rx7store sells them. They will work with the Efini Y-pipe, and a GReddy elbow.

is that the rx7 store brand smic i saw? if so, how does it compare with the m2? i was going to get the greddy smic, but a couple of people said to get the m2. i want run a efini ypipe, so i thought that those type of inlet/outlet ic were not compatible. is the rx7 store smic pretty decent?
I wouldnt say it's an rx7store brand... Another shop sells them. I call them spyfish SMICs, and yea I think they are both very good from what I have read. M2 has some piping issues, I havent heard of any from Carson's (spyfish) ICs.
As far as SMICs go, he said HKS was also better than Apexi, but didnt know much about Blitz. A few people on the forum love their Blitz FMICs, do a search on that.
HKS does not make any SMICs...at least I dont remember them making one. The Blitz and GReddy SMIC seem to be step below the M2 SMIC.
