Efini y-pipe: Does your rub the rad filler neck?
Just installed it and trying to slide that silicone coupler is tighter than a virgin on prom night (is there such a thing any more). Anyhow, just wondering if anyone else noticed the same thing?

Do it right, do it once

If your turbos have been rebuilt the compressor housings might be slightly misaligned causing the Efini y-pipe to hit the water neck. This is actally really easy to solve. Bolt the pipes up and push the crossover pipe to where you want it. It should rotate with a good push pretty easily. I just went through this.

I recently installed the efini y-pipe. Installation was easy with no problems or rubbing. I have the stock intercooler (for now). The Blitz is coming.
I did feel a HP gain, and there was a boost gain. Mazda claimed a 10 hp gain with this. I think part of the gain was due to the crossover tube being held in place. With the old crossover tube, it would flex upward under boost. So some of your boost was being wasted to expand this tube. It can't flex with the efini pipe.

Yes, I did feel a butt dyno difference. Not sure about horsepower but more responsive. I test drove it late last night and it was back up to scary fast from just plain fast.
