efini turbos

anybody running efini turbos and a streetport that had problems with boost creep after mid-pipe installation? i also have a PFC, down pipe, cat back, y pipe, and a cold air. and my car hasn't been tuned yet. the wastegate will get ported by the end of the month, i've heard different things about blowing the engine because of boost creep not being monitered, but that was with STOCK turbos, i have EFINI turbos.....i've also already searched the archives....but only found answers for those with stock twins. thus my asking of the question and advice. thanks

The efini turbos are really not much different than stock. Your mid pipe will cause boost creep. Nothing to do with the turbos. Port the wastegate to fix the problem.

^^Adam hit the nail in the head.

I would not go wide open throttle with the car as-is, either that or install a high flow cat.

Those 99 spec twins are great for boost levels 13ish psi and under. I wouldn't recommend pushing it past that.

thanks guys, i'll, just wait until the wastegate is ported, then toss on the mid pipe and then won't have to worry about creep.
