ECU Diagnostic scanner

what kind of scanner do i need to buy or what kind of adapter do i need to buy to be able to plug into the diagnostic port of my FD?

what do i need to get?

why do you have the cel on? you can search, and just jump 2 pins and read the flashing cel light.

Like he said, there is a diagnostic scanner but there is no need for it. There is a procedure (see the FAQ) for using a wire or paper clip to jumper the TEN and GND terminals of the diagnostic box and counting out the flash codes on the CEL.
