One of those cheap bars saved my life in my accident. It absorbed so much of the force that I would have been smashed otherwise. I'll send pics to the disbelievers.

i got an r1 sb to match my red fd, and i also had the cheap one off ebay. there is no diffrence in the handling to me, but im not a profesional driver. however the r1 sb seems to be a stronger metal (or just thicker) and less likely to flex. the $25 sb is definatly worth $25.

i'm trying to get ahold of them, hopefully i can, but stupid as i am, i threw out the shipping box so i'll have to go repack it and all that crap. depending on the cost of shipping it back, it might just be cheaper to buy a new one!

well, i'm just gonna wait and see what the guy says... it was their fault though, so who knows. i have access to a REALLY good shop at work and i might be able to get it done as a home job... its not just drilling new holes though, the land (part that sits on-top of the strut tower) is about 2 inches TOO big in diameter... i looked into it more and they must have sent me a 2nd gen one by mistake.

ebay swaybar
You got lucky.. I ordered a 7 dollar swaybar from that same guy and he sent me the wrong one! He wouldn't exchange it nor would he give me the 24 dollar refund.

Just received my used R1 bar from eBay seller rhdjapan. Got it used for $150 plus $40 shipping from Japan. It only took 3 days to get to my door from the end of the auction, and it's in great shape. He's got another one on auction right now. I know you can also get used ones, sometimes in black or red, from JT-imports, also in Japan, for around $195.
