ok, other than a couple of fitment issues are there any bigg differences between some of the major brand downpipes out there and an Ebay downpipe?

Also how do you like the Racing Beat exhaust? I am looking for something that is for the most part quite, or at least NOT REALLY LOUD!!

 

Ive got a Racing Beat catback, resonated midpipe, and hks downpipe. Its louder than a stock rx7, but quieter than any modded RX7 i have EVER encountered. Ive gotten a lot of compliments on it, and the stock appearence doesnt attract a lot of attention. Only downside is it uses the stock hangers (of course one of mine broke off) and its tucked in pretty far, so when you pop a flame it tends to ride up alongside the bumper.

 

my ebay downpipe and midpipe is just fine--I have no complaints!

 

i have Racingbeat dual tip catback with ebay stainless DP MP, and they fit fine. don't have any angle issue or leak, etc..

the only reason u might need a HKS or FEED DP w/ a flatter top because those are made for RHD JDM FDs. they have less space next to the turbo.

these ebay strait 3" mandrel bent U.S. versions will fit just fine for LHD.

I LOVE MY EXHAUST. i used to get harrased with Apexi N1 and Greddy SP exhaust that has single big tip. Now cops don't even follow me or care when i pass by
RB exhaust is only loud at WOT, if u lightly cruise by cops, it just sounds like another stock corvett or big block sports car.

 

The only issue is usually fitment. Depending on what company you buy your DP from on ebay it should be fine. I have a 3" SS DP on my car and it's holding up fine.

 

I had the DP/MP combo as-well. Fitment was fine. The only thing I did'nt like was the Piping Diameter and the FLange. It's stated at 3" but it's slightly smalller than that. It also made it a littler tougher to seal them with a brand name exhaust that is 3".

I'm not saying they're all like that though, Just mine. I'll try to find the name of the company shortly.
