Is it easy to spot compression loss?

The turbos are blowing oil - they have been checked and seals replaced, so are assumed to be good. Other things have been checked, and it would appear the only option left is that there is backpressure in the sump affecting the oil return - leading to some oil being pushed out through the turbo oil seals.

Question is: for this to occur, would you expect to see a significant compression loss? Or would a tiny leak (not measurable) be enough to force the oil out through the turbo oil seals?

(Car has been comp tested - even 7's on all 6 faces. Also vacuum tested, pulling 17inchesHg at idle - very steady).

Thanks for any thoughts on this!
