E brake issues
Well for starters mine is going bad, ive now got the line tightened all the way (10mm bolt) and it still barely holds the car in place. Im pulling the thing apart next week to do my brakes so ill see what the deal is while im in their.
But my question is, my e-brake light is staying on and it used to function flawlessly (never turned on during accel ect.) It wont go off no matter what position the lever is in. I can hear the relay clicking by my feet when I put it down but the light dosent so much as flicker. Anyone have any ideas before I go ripping this thing apart?
Thanks much, Mike

One indication for the light going on is also if your brake fluid reservoir is low. Check that out and top it off if it's low as that was my case way back when.
Not helpful but relates to yours...my last maintenence check-up at the shop, the mechanic adjusted my e-brake and now now longer has the same issue I once had with you have now. I used to have to pull the brake handle all the way (almost a full 45 degrees!) and the car would still buldge at times...not anymore though (now it's like a tad 20 degrees give/take).

Most of the time its just the e-brake switch under the handle, it makes contact when the handle is down. Both of my cars had that light flicker when i would drive so i just took the switch out and grounded the wire. The light never comes on but its not like its a big deal when you can look at the handle and see if its up or down.
