The only thing that saved you from blowing your engine is the 110 gas. Even though you made the HP, its not realistic. With a proper ECU you could do that on pump gas.

but no way are you htting 14 psi
Actually it is possible to get around the normal fuel cut and use the AFC to make up for it. I just read up on it.

Hey I don't care what you think , boost gauge was reading 14 psi , the runs were only done up to 105 mph in 4th gear which is 5600 rpm the car was shut off at 6000 rpms, no fuel cut. like I said before www.momentumgt.com is featuring the car and it will have pics, dyno video and the dyno slip .

I have no reason to make anything up its all going to be out there for everyone to see.

phantom works,
I was really surprised when you called me last night, congrats on those great numbers. I can stop by with my camera and post a photo of your dyno sheet, if you'd like. I've been wanting to dyno my car for a while, maybe we can see how a nearly-stock motor compares on the same dyno.

I agree that you need a fully programmable ECU, though. If you can wait about 6 months and don't mind being a bit of a guinea pig, I'm planning on testing the Megasquirt on my car sometime this summer or fall. It should be cheaper than the PFC by a few hundred dollars.

He did say it was only for the dyno. I'm sure he doesn't roll around every day doin 14lbs with 110 octane.

what do you care?

The car runs fine, I don't ever even get into the second turbo driving on the street.

Its pussies like you that make other rx7 owners afraid to push their cars from time to time.
If the motor lets go so what its got 33,xxx miles on it anyway and its not my primary transportation .

And when it does let go or maybe before it does I'm going to do the LS1 swap.

I can't remember the guys name, but the old school guys have been doing higher HP numbers with mostly stock fuel systems and non-fully programmable ECU's long before most of us were around:

I'm a newb to FD's but not general car terminology...he is referring to the factory fuel-cut when boost is raised above 12psi or so...check out his link and you'll see what he was referring to. He was not referring to the actual top end fuel cut.

he has some hocus pocus fuel cut override on it, apparently

he's rolling the dice with his engine, but I guess that defines his manliness, everyone smart enough to get a chipped ECU or progammable ECU is a "*****"

rolling the dice? with 10.1-11.4 afr #s during the dyno pulls, thats pretty rich.

and a chipped ecu or programmable ecu, so what. the piggy back computer is still doing the trick, I'm not running single turbo @25 psi.

and again why are you so worried about my car is this how you prove your "manliness" by trying to put down what someone else has done?

your the same retard that puts down other peoples cars because of their body kit or wheel choice, who cares why don't you crawl out of your moms basement and go drive your car around and get some fresh air

im guessing those old school guys are the ones that gave the FD an even worse rap for being unreliable.

Nope, those are the guys who really took the time and money to push what they had. Things like the PFC didn't exist back then so they had to push what they had. While I'm sure they broken a few engines here and there, they are the reason we know as much today as we do.

Youre 36 and you run your car into the ground like every other 16year old punk that comes on these forums. Youre not breaking any new ground according to mahjik. You are useless and annoying. Go home. Go run a train. Go away.

I think everyone needs to calm down.

Have people done things like this before? Sure. People aren't necessarily looking to do something no one else has done, but something "they" want to do.

You can choose to help them or ignore them, but everyone "should" do what they want to do with their own car. It's one thing when someone doesn't know what they are doing, but it's pretty clear that Phantom knows exactly what he's doing and is just asking for help on his goal.

I would be extremely surprised if it is physically possible to pull those AFRs with the stock fuel system at 360 rwhp. It goes against the math, as well as everyone's experience I know of.
