How much boost are you running? Seems like you've got everything you need for 300ish to the ground.

Yeah thats what i thought also, he posted a DP and i said that in the other one. His numbers seem a little low for what he has, i think he should just be around 300-320. Did you have someone tune ur PFC? Also can you get a mid-pipe? If not look into a highflow cat.

its a mustang dyno, read the top dyno sheet, so you usually add 15% correct? so 262 whp with 15% added would be 301 whp.

I have a Hi-Flow Cat, and yes He tuned the PFC. My AFR is around 11. I was thinking I could get 300rwhp too, but I came up short.

It sounds about right, more and less, but you should have run a bit more HP, pretty much what everyone else is sayng couple of percent more, with a nice SMIC like that and and high flow MC .

I rane similar HP w/DP, CB, k&n intake (not as nice as yours), and Pettit Racing unlim. ECU pushing 12psi, 267.2 RWHP and 230.1 torque
Running w/stock midcat, IC, fuel components and so on ...

BTW those are very impressing engine bay pics,,, nice...

You can raise the boost a little, get bigger secondaries, get some ignition mods and run a higher octane or poor octane booster in your tank before you do your dyno run. That will boost you up a bit. And yes mustang dynamometers read low... so you do have to add a percentage, not sure how much... but you MAY be in the 300 range already.

Greddy smic is much more restrictive than M2 or PFS. Tubes are loaded with internal fins, and lower cast elbo is pinched down bigtime. At 9 psi boost, pressure drop was only .1 psi better than stock, which is a real choker. I removed 2 fluid oz of alum, porting bottom inlet ... helped some.

Pressure drop ... Check boost with normal gage, t'eed in before the check valve to the pressure tank. See how much higher than 12 psi at top end. Best to compare with stock IC installed, as this was very accurately checked by scc tests and had 2.5 psi drop at 12 psi.

I may be missing something, but the dyno sheet only goes up to about 6,000 RPM. Unless I'm wrong, max RWHP would be at about 7,000 - 7,500 RPM. Was there any reason the dyno pull didn't go up to 7,500 RPM?

On my two rotor dyno, I made about 310 RWHP but I also had a ported engine. Pettit thought I should have made more though, and like your dyno, my max horsepowere was at 6,000 RPM, not 7,000 - 7,500. I had that motor removed for a 3 rotor conversion and it turns out I had a blown exhaust gasket that kept my power curve from increasing above 6,000 RPM. Normally your curve should continue up until at least 7,000 RPM.

Do you think mabe I have a bad exhaust gasket? Would that really effect the power that much?

I think you have to pull the whole engine out to change the exhaust gasket if im not mistaken.. Does anyone know for sure if mustang dyno's read low on our cars?

I agree with David Hayes, I was hitting peak horse between 6,3xx and 7,000 rpms on stock ports.

You are AFRs are really dropping off past 5,7xx rpms…. off the graph and probably below 10. So you need to lean out those AFRs past 5,7xx. Are you using the base mod or base timing maps?
