Exclamation dyno ACCIDENTS....

there is supposed to be a dyno day here in norcal....i have a intake and bov on my 95 Base.....sometimes spikes up pretty HIGH...12-13.....i was wonderin if itll be ok to do 3 runs.....or will i need a ECU for it??? my clutch is goin out ALSO.....anything BAD???

What are your mods???????

If you are saying you are stock, then no way. Most dynos are setup for heavier cars, so your car will be under more load then you would normally see in a straight line. That plus your overboost issue, and a slipping clutch which means you may overrev, will = a possible blown engine; especially with 3 runs.

If you have some fuel management, just make sure you are not leaning out.

just the blitz intake..cause i know the bov dont mean anything.....

how HARD is it to swap ecu's??? is it like a HONDA where you just unplug and plug?

If you go with a reprogrammed ECU like M2, Pettit or GForce... yes, just unplug the stock one, and plug in the reprogrammed one..

If you go with something like the Power FC, it's a little more involved:

My motor died on the dyno in December. New one in there now. Scared to go back to the dyno.
