Question Dummy guide to removing the "MOOOO"

Please guys,
I can no longer take the cow that is located under my hood that moo's to possibly let me know he’s burning and stuck in a very uncomfortable and hot position. I have checked up on the capping mod but it’s not clear on how to do this. A dummy guide with steps layed out would be much appreciated! As long as this mod doesn’t jeopardize anything else I will be more than satisfied.

No rx7 should sound like a dieing cow… not acceptable lol

QUESTION: Apexi intake has a piece that requires a hose to connect to it which is from the air relief pipe. Should I just reconnect it with the rubber cap inside it (dont know if it will fit inside. In pictures I see they leave it unattended with only the rubber cap on the end of the pipe. My question is how can you leave that pipe on the intake itself freely open? Should I block it off with another rubber cap but no holes in it, or should I just leave it open...

You just block the opening on the intake with another furniture cap...one that's undrilled.
