I was wondering if it was possible to drop the engine back in with all accessories attatched including downpipe. I have a single turbo setup with wastegate rerouted back into downpipe. The reason I'm asking is because I took everything off the engine before pulling and want to make it simpler to drop back in, especially because its a pain to connect the wastegate up with the engine already back in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I know you can do it with the downpipe on with the stock twins... Not sure about a single though... Would be tight I would assume but I think you can pull it off...

Shouldn't be a problem with a load leveler.

 

its harder to do if your doing it by yourself. I would just leave the downpipe off, if you have a vband its a 5 min instal for both ends of the dp.

 

It can be done. Is the trans still in the car or out, it will be more difficult if the trans is still in. Sometimes it is difficult to snake the downpipe around the bellhousing without getting hung up or beating the **** out of the fire wall.

 

Man, I wish i upgraded to vband when I had the chance...4 bolt is a pain in the ***!

 

I have the tranny out as well, I plan on having it all bolted up for the quickest/easiest install. I'm even wiring everything up that way I just need to put the harness back through the firewall.
