Driving the car w/o front sway bar

I have to transport my FD from one shop to another (long story), but I don't have all the parts I need to mount my front sway bar yet. I don't want to pay for a tow truck, because that's $60 I could use for something else. The shop is about 2 miles away from where the car currently is.

Right now, I'm just paranoid the car will radically oversteer and run me into something, so I'm just looking for confirmation that driving the car ar 40mph or so won't be anything terribly frightening.

Thanks

If its only two miles away why don't you just put on your emergency lights and drive slowly there.

Jaysus, the car will drive just fine. Just don't go flinging it into on-ramps at 9/10ths.

if anything with the front bar detached you'll oversteer more than understeer because of the extra grip up front. Just take it easy on the drive there, the car will be fine.
