Drive 3 hrs w/o airpump or with squeaky rattle?
My air pump is going. It's making squeaky rattly noises. The problem is i have to go back to school in 3 days and that is almost 3 hrs away. I have the stock cat and precat in place. Would it be better to drive with the squeak/rattle, or with the airpump unplugged? Once I get it to school it can sit for awhile but I have to get it back there. Or is the correct answer to not drive it ANYWHERE w/o getting the new airpump? Please advise.

I have heard people say it before, but I doubt that not running the airpump will damage anything. The air pump makes the main cat hotter, so I don't see how not having it could make the cat melt, which is the common warning.
I have had mine disconnected (the electrical connector is all you need to do) and it did not have any ill effects.
Disconnect it and don't worry about it until you need to get the car smog tested.

Be careful, I tried to purchase a used FD air pump from someone on there as well (I thought mine was going out, but it was another problem) and never received it. Lost money.
Not that it was a lot of money, but I would have loved to have a spare sitting around in case I needed one.
