Downpipe install...Getting off Precat

Is there an easier way to get off that last bolt on the top left of the pre cat? or do i need to take off the y pipe and then go at it or what? i have the other 3 off already

first you need to use your time machine and go 15 years in the future. then u meet Dr. Mathayus who can use the inhibtor ray to shrink your hands by 5mm.

but seriously, yes take off the Ypipe.

before u reinstall the down pipe, get the aftermarket downpipe bolts, they are smaller and can all be wrenched from under neath the car. the stock bolts are too big. i believe pettit sells them, but check with jason also.

just work blindly by feel w an extension socket until you get to the bolt. removing y pipe takes more time and offers limited additional space.

removed existing and installed new without removing y-pipe. Patience and small hands are all you need
