downpipe to cat exhause leak
Well, it appears that I have an exhaust leak between my downpipe and my main cat. I think it is the weight of the main cat pulling down on the connection and causing the bottom to seperate because there are only two bolts - on on either side. I have read about this problem before and doubling the gaskets hasn't appeared to help anyone. It appears on my hks DP that there is a place to put a hanger for the DP. It seems to me that if the dp were held up higher, the flanges would meet at the right angle, thus stopping my leak. My precat also had these holes but there was no hanger. Is it possible to buy a hanger for the precat/DP? If so, where does it connect to on the other end, how much is it, and where can I get one?

go ghetto man, get ur favorite coat hanger, bend it to the right length, either drill in some kind of a hanger holder thing, or find some place that can hold it up, i mean if u dont want to save some money then dont do this but its easy. .02
