Door wiring harness removal
I can't remove the wiring harness from the doors of my 93 R1. I've felt around the connector and can't figure out where the tab is to push in to let it slide out. Can someone post a picture of the area with the tab location(s) circled?

maybe if i get excited i can go take some pictures for you. i've had mine out for a while. should be able to point out where all the tabs are. are you sure you have everything unpluged? like mirror, motor of course, and locks. like around door handle and i think there's a plug on the latch it's self

?
The harness stays as a single piece as it enters the door? From what it looks like, there is a disconnectable connector (that sounds weird) between the interior and the rubber hose that connects to the door. From what I understand, you can just disconnect that and then remove the door, making unplugging the mirror and such needless. Or am I wrong?

The actual harness between the door and body is simple. Pop back the rubber boot around the end on the body. Pull it back a bit. There will be a red tab - slide that back.
With that tab removed, you should be able to unplug the harness, it's simple. To get enough clearance to totally remove the door side from the body side, you'll need to slightly close the door from full open to get enough clearance to slide the connector out fully.
