Door Gasket, Weatherstripping or Welt

I have a new driver's side door gasket/welt from Ray Crowe.

The manual doesn't give any tips for the install. I'm wondering if there are any tricks or tips to getting a good tight fit. Appears to just press over the metal lip, but has anyone found some hints on how to get a good firm fit?

Thanks for any help

Just take your time and press it in. Very easy to install.

I had heard that leaving them in the sun to make them more pliable was good.

Also heard that using a soap solution made for easier fitment.

Any help would be appreciated

Just wondering how much was the gasket. If you don't mind. I am being lazy to call Ray.

Thanks!
