Door dent removal? - Anyone had it done or know how much it would cost?

The RX7 I just looked at today has several dents (2 or 3 in each door) one on the fender and I think there may have been one on the hood. I want the car but I want it to look really nice, does anyone know how much it would cost to have them removed? They aren't really big, would they have to repaint the door to take them out?

Thanks,
-Charlie

if they are just minor ones like door dings, call your local mercedes or bmw dealer and ask for the detail guy they use. this guy will generallyh come to your house and remove all the door dings and scratches for about $80.

The average price that I charge per panel is $65 but it really depends on what company you use. Make sure you dont let them drill on the door to gain access.

Dent pro charges $50-75 per small dent/ding. If you have a whole bunch, I think you get a better price too. Either way, it's not too big of a deal.

Have fun w/ the purchase.

And No. we dont have to repaint the panel. The process is really simple, we gain access from behind the dent and massage the metal, with a specific rod, until the dent is gone.

That's it. It is really hard to see the dents in the picture but those are the two I was able to find.

Yes, those ones are really common in our cars but they are really simple to repair from the window access.

I would charge you for those in the door $65 the average repair time would be 30 min.

I am under the assumption that you are inquiring about the 'paintless' dent removal right?
well, speaking from experience, and boy do i have it.....i have had some done on my car. the guy was a friend of mine, but still, i know the process and the $. for roughly $100-$150, you can have about 3-5 door dings removed. it also depends on the location of the ding. sometimes it is on a seam and will require more work than others, but you ge the drift. it will usually cost about $50 per ding......

Our local car club had a PDR event recently, and I was quite impressed with how well they cleaned up the panels. We had some very challenging cars for them, but they really worked some magic and the cars turned out looking nice. It isn't cheap, but it really works. I was always skeptical before.

The fenders are easy too I would charge you $50 for a quarter size dent in the fernder if you repair both panels. Just MAke sure the company that you choose dont drill to gain access to a dent. I tell you this because Ive been in the PDR business for many years and I just try to never drill and if I have to that will be my last resource.

I bought my red 94 R2 and it already had a couple of holes from a repair that the last owner had from a lame company.
