Don's turbo rebuilds

Has anyone had work from him on their turbos? He charges 900 for a complete rebuild their manifold and everything with a 1 yr warentee and 500 to rebuild the two cartridges. I've heard he uses viton seals so they last much longer. Anyone know about him?

There is only 1 o-ring on the stock turbos and it isn't a common failure point. Not to say viton isn't good, but it isn't going to fix any existing issues with that o-ring.

In my experience, the main failure points are the hard seals and the sealing surfaces.

I talked to turbo city a few months ago and the guy said they don't even stock the FD turbo parts anymore because of lack of demand.

I'd like to know who still sells the parts for future reference.

I'll bet the parts are still available somewhere.

Does anyone rebuild aftermarket turbos? For instance, GT35R, etc?

and Alex, I honestly liked your black FC as a sig rather than the girl there. >.>

I would just get some nice BRN's

I talked with a place in L.A. a while ago about getting my turbos rebuilt. I will let you know if I can find their number. I looked but it has been a while.
