The wideband and O2 sensor are the same as we are speaking of them. I also have the innovate wideband O2 and also reccommend it. Yes, you need to have the new bung welded into your down pipe.

As a side note, I'd replace that AST. Unless the color is way off she's looking mighty green. When they get old they turn green and tend to rupture/crack/split. When I removed mine it was so brittle two of the nipples shattered like glass when I was gently removing the hoses.
