Dome light in the trunk!?!

It's just a bulb that back lights the little area around they keyhole, not like a spot light or anything 
. Don't you have to lift up on the door handle or something for it to turn on? Mine have never worked so I'm not sure but I do remember people talking about it.
And I had no idea there was a light in the trunk, I've owned my FD for almost 3 years now and never realized that
. That was actually one thing that really bugged me, I'd get home late at night and go to get my backpack or something out of the hatch and couldn't see a damn thing! I'll have to investigate this when I go pick it up later today haha. Although with my luck this will be one of the features Mazda decided not to include on the R1 models .

I know about the trunk light, I know about the keyhole light, I just want the damned glovebox light to go off then the glovebox door is closed! I think everyone's FD has this problem...

how do you really know if its on or off....

just get some little black sticky pads and put them where the box contacts the light switch...
but does it matter, my g-box light is only one when headlights are on, i think hmmmm
