And I had no idea there was a light in the trunk, I've owned my FD for almost 3 years now and never realized that . That was actually one thing that really bugged me, I'd get home late at night and go to get my backpack or something out of the hatch and couldn't see a damn thing! I'll have to investigate this when I go pick it up later today haha. Although with my luck this will be one of the features Mazda decided not to include on the R1 models .
mine turns on when i turn my alarm on/off, im not sure if it turns on if i try to open it or stick the key in it.

I know about the trunk light, I know about the keyhole light, I just want the damned glovebox light to go off then the glovebox door is closed! I think everyone's FD has this problem...

hmmm....

reminds me of a refridgereator...

how do you really know if its on or off....

lol

just get some little black sticky pads and put them where the box contacts the light switch...
but does it matter, my g-box light is only one when headlights are on, i think hmmmm
