Does your hood hit your headlights?

When you lift the hood with the headlight up does it hit? Mine were and I adjusted them out so they wouldn't but they are still very close. I'm just wondering if my headlight buckets are bent or something.

no, it's only fitment question... fender, hood, lights cover and front bumper.. damn, for me it was horrible to fit that correctly.

I know my car has never been hit in the front (okay, cracked the fiberglass bumper cover) and when I lift the hood while the lights are up, it doesnt come anywhere near hitting any part of either light.

We have a lot of tight fitment between panels, like between the door and fender, the door nearly touching the fender when you open it.

Lots of adj in the HL covers and fenders

Some in the front bumper and hood

So fitment should be an easy fix

My issue is more like a bumper issue , Bumper pulls the fenders inwards , and in order to give some seperation from the bumper / fender had to move the lights inwards .

during normal operation they dont hit , but if I try to open the hood with the lights up it will graze the headlight covers . I'm sure with proper adjustments it can be fixed . But concidering the condition my headlight covers are in as is .. I just cant be bothered . until I get a new bumper atleast .

To the OP , more then likely someone has messed around with the fenders / hood / bumper alignment and light alignment ,

does it rub on both sides or just one? is the seperation of the hood from the fender even on both sides?
